The Watery Elixir

Milk is obtained from an animal but since it is not prepared by killing the animal and since it does not consist of any other animal part, most people consider it vegetarian.Although majority of the world's population consumes milk everyday, people who call themselves vegans do not consume milk or milk products.Vegans argue that milk is not necessary except in infancy.During infancy, milk from the mother is available to the child.Adults, they don't need milk.Whatever be the arguments for and against consuming milk, the fact remains that milk is a highly nutritious food and fulfills almost all our nutritional requirements. So in order to obtain our daily supply of nutrients and to live a healthy life, milk is absolutely necessary for our body.

Massage Muddle

This incident took place during my summer vacations, which I usually spend with my grandparents at my native place.Once, after dinner, my grandfather asked me to massage his back and I agreed. He fell asleep immediately and I too fell asleep a little later.Imagine my grandmother's surprise when he woke up in the middle of the night to find me massaging the floor instead!

A Messy Picnic

This incident happened to me when I was in the third standard in my school.I had gone to a school picnic to visit the 'Royal Fort' in Delhi. After we had completed the visit, our teacher announced that we should all head towards 'oysters', the water park which was one of the famous place for water sports. It was also one of the places where every child would dream of spending their leisure time there.I was very excited and ran along with my friends to reach there faster.Suddenly I was on the ground and there was blood all over my face.I had not seen a rope slung low across the path.I had tripped on it and cut my chin.A doctor stitched my wound and gave me an injection and some medicines.I have not forgotten the incident till today.

The Strange Snake

One summer night when my father was away, we experienced a power cut.In the candlelight, my mother spotted a black snake near the kitchen door.We were really scared, so we called our neighbors, who came to our help with lamps and sticks. One of them touched the snake with a stick, but it didn't move.He hit it hard and much to our surprise there was a loud clanging sound.A closer examination revealed that the "snake" was actually a thin stick.

Helpful Stranger

When I was young I disliked poor people. One day when I was riding my bicycle, I collided with another cycle and fell down unconscious. When I regained consciousness, I found myself in a hospital. The doctor told me a poor man on the street had brought me to the hospital.I learned that day that people are good, whether rich or poor.
