Body Mass Index (BMI)

BMI is one method of determining whether you are Obese, Normal or Underweight based on your height and weight. This method is fine as a general guide to your obesity level but is Not a good indicator for some, Including Bodybuilders, Powerlifters and other Athletes because this method does not take into account your ratio of muscle to fat. A muscular individual will often rate as obese on BMI but in reality they are far from it.
